Tom Dircks
Managing Director
Prior to Charterhouse Strategic Partners, he was previously responsible for managing and investing Charterhouse’s multi-billion dollar institutional private equity funds. He served as Chairman of the Board of Directors, a Director, and Member of the Audit Committee, Governance or Compensation Committees of many of Charterhouse’s public and private portfolio companies, including Charter Communications, Suddenlink, AAT, Tierpoint, and Upstream Rehabilitation. Prior to Charterhouse, he was a CPA at Price Waterhouse Coopers. Tom also serves as a trustee of two family foundations, including The Robert and Joan Dircks Foundation. Tom holds an M.B.A. and a B.S. in Accounting from Fordham University.
William Landuyt
Managing Director
Bill joined Charterhouse after spending over 20 years with publicly traded UK-based Hanson PLC, most recently serving as the Chairman and CEO of Millennium Chemicals Inc., a NYSE-listed company. He had previously served as the CFO of Hanson PLC, the $18.5 billion parent entity. Bill began his career as a CPA at Pricewaterhouse Coopers. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a B.B.A. in Accounting. He served on the Board of Directors, Audit Committees, and Compensation Committees of Bethlehem Steel and many of Charterhouse’s public and private companies and currently sits on the Board of Suburban. Bill is also the Co-Founder of Celtic Charms, Inc., a non-profit therapeutic riding center.
Steve Dircks
Principal
Steve Dircks is responsible for sourcing, diligence, and financial analysis of investment opportunities and add-on investments. Steve is also a Managing Director of Charter Digital, a portfolio company of Charterhouse Strategic Partners which focuses on digital infrastructure and decentralized financial applications. Steve received a B.B.A. in Economics and Marketing from Loyola University Maryland, where he captained the division one men’s lacrosse team. He subsequently played five seasons of professional lacrosse.
